The AOL browser has a tendency compress some photographic images to a point of distortion or fuzzyness. To disable this compression you need to:
- click the My AOL icon at the top of the screen.
- click Preferences.
- click WWW.
- then click the web graphics tab.
- uncheck the box that says use compressed graphics.
- then click the general tab, click delete files to delete the temporary internet files and then click the clear history button.
- you then must click apply and ok to exit preferences.
- you will then have to sign off AOL and close AOL program.
- The next time you sign on with AOL you will see the changes.
