The AOL browser has a tendency compress some photographic images to a point of distortion or fuzzyness. To disable this compression you need to:

1. click the My AOL icon at the top of the screen.
2. click Preferences.
3. click WWW.
4. then click the web graphics tab.
5. uncheck the box that says use compressed graphics.
6. then click the general tab, click delete files to delete the temporary internet files and then click the clear history button.
7. you then must click apply and ok to exit preferences.
8. you will then have to sign off AOL and close AOL program.
9. The next time you sign on with AOL you will see the changes.
